Holding down a job or paying for school and buying or renting a house, all those economic and cultural duties - with those dealing with the stress, unless you’re directly challenging the social structure either with violence, civil disobedience, or organized determined pacifistic defiance, is cowardly submission. Every time you show up on time, smile and fake your way through your shift or your classes or whatever is being forced upon you - the coping mechanism is acceptance and submission. In other words, cowardice.
