They were one of my favorite bands in the mid 90s and as far as I remember, were pretty much on par in terms of popularity with Green day, part of the same punk-revival wave.
Smash was huge. I haven't heard it in a while, just a few of the standout tracks but they still hold up for me.
I think they burned out quicker than Green day though. Never really made the switch post 00, while Green Day had with
American idiot and
21st century breakdown.
