First: Bon Jovi opened up for The Scorpions in 1984. We waited outside until the herds of feathered hair sprayed women let out, then we went in. The sound in the Rosemont Horizon was ****ing terrible, so we couldn't understand anything Claus said and the music was muddied up real bad. It was funny though because I thought I caught Claus trolling the crowd when he uttered what I thought was gibberish and the crowd cheered and he looked at Mathias and laughed. lol "They'll ****ing cheer at anything I say!".
Best: Jeff Beck w/Johnny Lang on Jeff's "Who Else" tour. I got tickets for my birthday and they were for 30th row center, right in front of the sound guy. It made for one of the most magical performances I've ever witnessed, narrowly beating out seeing Jeff with SRV a few months before he passed. We had nose bleed seats for that, but it was still an incredible show.
