Thanks. This whole month has been a weird, unexpected trip down a memory hole.
During the first 15 years of my life, crossing the Ambassador Bridge (the most
talked-about crossing when it came to those idiot "truckers") to go visit my
Ukrainian grandparents was a pretty common thing for me (I witnessed the
first moon landing while staying there). Now, we have this crap going on.
Being American and Canadian or having Ukrainian ancestry is a negligible issue -
it's the full-on audacity and immensity of this - especially if something goes
"accidentally" wrong regarding possible activity in NATO member states and
how it will be dealt with. Putin had his sights on Central and Eastern Europe
back in December when those Russian treaties were presented.
Who's to say he won't go further?
