Sly Stone
I may be showing my age. But Sly was so incredibly influential. I would contend he was more influential and more of an innovator than Prince. As a very young person, his tunes helped foster the beginning of my music fanaticism. It's too bad his drug problems marred his career. RIP, Sly.
