The best Big Black album to start out with would probably be Songs About Fu
cking or Atomizer, both are pretty popular. Butthole Surfers, I always liked Psychic... Powerless... Another Man's Sac and A Brown Reason To Live. Hairway To Steven and Locust Abortion Technician are good too.

Yeah, some of the early Minutemen material and some material by the Descendents and Husker Du among others was released through Watt and Boons label but when D. Boon died they sold it to SST and Ginn transered the New Alliance Records stuff to his SST label.
