Their contributions to rap music- some argue that underground cats can spit better than big, pac or jay, but these emcees revolutionized hip hop, whether they're actually the best lyricists or not. 2. How well they spit (in battles and freestyles) 3. Creativity on albums 4. What they say- alot of emcees just talk about bitches and cars but the true ones include social commentary in their raps and can spit on some real philosophical **** that provides insight into the human mind. 5. Originallity- true emcees have their own style that is unique to them and no one else. Given that, my list is:
