I Can't Think of a Title
Kind of simple, but here you go. It's not the best, I wrote it around 3 a.m. this morning in the midst of an English term paper.
There is a place, far beyond illusion
Through the darkness, beyond all man’s restraints
There is a place, where soft amber light’s glow
Illumines shadows on my face
There’s a place, at the edge of the world
In God’s country, or so it may seem
I stand immersed, in the afterglow
Like a silhouette in a dream
There is a place, a sanctuary without walls,
Where the sound of silence reigns
Troubles not lost, but all is forgotten
Serenity, more than words can sing.
