Fritz Loew wrote the tunes Alan Lerner wrote the words.
Beethoven wrote the tunes no one co wrote them with him

I just think that those early Beatle songs that electrified everyone back in 1963 all have the John Lennon hallmark
No doubt Paul was a great sounding board and could give his honest opinion etc

I saw her standing there has Paul written all over it
Things we said today etc you can see his genius as a songwriter being expressed there

but those amazing early songs
Not a second time
Please please me
From me to you
She loves you
I want to hold your hand etc have John Lennons fingerprints all over them

In early 1964 Paul takes over with
Can t buy me love
but John soon reasurts himself with
Hard days night
I feel fine
Ticket to ride
Help
and the B side on most of those is obviously one of
Pauls efforts.
It goes on in 1967 Penny Lane is Paul
and the B side Strawberry field s it John

They were a dynamic , unstoppable team who dominated the
1960s, will we ever see their like again ?

Heres a Beatles audio you might want to have a listen to
go here
Putfile - Beatles the end of touring
You are truly foolish. Your claim that two people cannot contribute to a final melody is utter trash and you clearly have no clue what the hell you're talking about. Also, it's not just about the melody - there's also the chords, the song structure, the instrumental arrangements, etc.. With regard to the chords, the interview EXPLICITLY describes Paul coming up with ideas. He was as much a part of the process as John. Moreover, the whole "Lennon/McCartney" thing started for a reason. Originally, they actually DID write the songs in a true partnership - "played into each other's noses", as Lennon said. The partnership only really ended well after Beatlemania had begun. Your claims are just absolute garbage.

You can continue dreaming that John Lennon wrote those major early hits himself. But you're ignoring the facts and EVEN what Lennon said himself in countless damn interviews.
