1. Over 300 million records sold Only Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and The Beatles have sold more.

Record sales do not equal greatness, there are plenty of artists such as Britney Spears who have probably sold more albums than artists such as Joy Division, does that make her better? Nope.

2. The first Major Heavy Metal Band in Rock and Roll History paving the way for Black Sabbath and the like.

They formed the same year as Sabbath.

3. #1 on VH1's list of the greatest Hard Rock Artists of all-time and #4 on the overall Rock and Roll list.

That really doesn't disprove "i come here for real music disussion. not this kind of crap. your list is a rehash of every list that guitar magazine and rolling stone have ever done." now does it?

4. Incorporated more styles of Music into their Rock & Roll repertoire then any other band ever including but not limited to blues, country, rockabilly, jazz, soul, classical, Celtic, Arabic and Indian, folk, funk & reggae.

You make it sound like Zeppelin are the only ones to have introduced other genres into their music, what about Primal Scream, Bowie, the Beatles, or the Clash? Also having listened to two Zeppelin albums I do not recall them doing all that.

5. Arguably the greatest Rock and Roll guitar player ever Jimmy Page who has written more identifiable riffs then any other guitar player ever. Johnny Ramone, and Eddie Van Halen credit Page as the sole influence and inspiration for both of their unique signature guitar playing styles.

I'd like to see some sources on that Johnny Ramone thing, i've never heard about that before.
