Just because they are interesting and worthy of my time doesn't automatically make me like them.It just means i'll give them credit for being original.
You never know , a band might take that originality and put their own twist on it that will make me like it. I don't happen to like the Velvet Underground that much however they influenced hundreds of bands that I do like , so I give them credit for that.
