i'm well aware of the sounds he's capable of pulling out
through his pedals (i use 9-13 pedals when i play i'm well aware of their potential). using the guitar as a controller for sounds created through the effect pedals is no different than using a MIDI keyboard hooked up to a synth. it just looks cooler to patch a guitar through pedals. if you hooked up his pedals to a keyboard with a scratch pad and a fader would anyone be able to tell the difference without seeing it?
how about someone explains to me how being reliant on something other than a guitar makes someone a great guitarist. can ANYONE in this thread do that?
