I'd like to request that the title of this thread is changed to "why DON'T you like country music?". Because THAT seems to be the question that people have difficulty answering or even elaborating on.

Gimme a break. Most people who hate country merely do it out of blind prejudice and never even listen to it, or at least haven't explored it. There's plenty going on outside of that rubbish mainstream country pop crap. It's pretty vast, all things considered.
