Ehhhh...use OPS or OPS+ if you use rate stats. They a lot more reliable then batting average. A-Rod does tend to choke though.

I'm suprised Jeter's sudden decline. His OBP is 38 points down and his SLG is 60 points down. His range has seemed to increase.

And finally - has anyone been watching Masterson (of the Red Sox)? He got the call up and is whiffing batters well. His sinker is downright dirty. Lester too has been the most consistent starter of the Sox this season. All the young-ins finally growing up.
