The way I see it, all wars are a tragedy, the vietnam was was a crime. There was no justification whatsoever for the US to be there, and the suffering, loss of life, just everything that the troops went through is astounding, and all for nothing. Actually no, I'd hate to say that all that suffering and death was for nothing, that whole period in time can be used as a lesson, the devastation and turmoil that is created by war, even more so by a war with no real justification.
