That's why I said it. I can't honestly claim that it's the best thrash album of all time, but I'm more than familiar with the surfeit of derivative tosh that got mixed in. I've never really noticed the production on Ride the Lightning (sans Fade to Black), but I can imagine it's worse than MOP.
