Ok, so that beuing said, I LOVED the Zwan album, and thought it actually had some really strong solid pop tuns and some excellent playing.


To be honest, Corgan should have just stuck "Smashing Pumpkins" on the cover and run with it - the core of the band was him and Jimmy Chaberlin who are the core of the band now anyways... and probably always really were...


The fact remains, Mary Star of the Sea is a darn good recording.
I would consider James Iha a large part. Enough to be considered a core member. Especially in there live shows.
