6) The Kaleidoscope
Labelled by Fontana Records as The Sound of Tomorrow, this no nonsense group from Acton in London, were the epitome of English Psychedelia, with excellent orchestral arrangements, whimsical lyrics, gorgeous harmonies and easily accessible music experimentation. Their debut in 1967 and the follow up in 1969 to this day remain the most underrated English sixties albums from the period.
