He wrote a lot of his best songs himself, maybe not a songwriting genius, but you can't say he wasn't a talented songwriter.

Charlie Chaplin is irrelevant
It's not news because there are more important interesting things to talk about pertaining to Michael Jackson.
Why sigh at that last bit, it's the real story in his death, not his music.
And I think Off the Wall is much better then Bad and Thriller, but they are very good pop albums as well. I gave him his due as a songwriter, saying he's better then most give him credit for being and as for VU being dated, Whatever suck it.
