I'm not seeing where the analogy fits TBH.
Well MM and winamp dont drain any RAM, plus i got plenty to spare.

I don't just use mine to play music though, so I need and regularly use the features in it, even more so as I rip more CDs. So if ya just playing music then ya may not want anything more.
