Because I've been studying for my degree in Biology for the last three years, a lot of my reading has been either from a textbook or popular science. It's always typical that when you're studying something anything else seems more interesting than what you're doing, but I tried not to read other topics as I felt as if I'd forget the things I was meant to know. Now seems the ideal time (I've graduated) to catch up on things I find interesting. I find history fascinating but know only the basics, so I thought I'd start with this..
Then I'll see where my history takes me. Always been fascinated in Rome so I'll maybe pick up some reading on that. Tom Holland's Rubicon was a good starter for the area, great book.
