So far so interesting, not sure if it's up there with his other stuff but you can't fault the guy's imagination. The central concept is very ambitious, to write in a manner that is at all believable.

The Alvin series by Orson Scott Card. I just started Prentice Alvin I LOVE that series... trying to finish it up before I go back to school, since my parents have these two books containing most of the series, but I own nary a one.

The Long Walk wasn't as good as I was expecting, it's still good though, but just a bit of a let down.

Just read this. One of the best comics (or graphic novels) I've read.

I've also started on

Thank you again to Tore for hours upon hours of fun I'm undoubtedly to have with this series...(:

About to start, I'm just slightly intimidated by the opening lines...

Although I ordered it on CA's recommendation so I knew what I was getting into.

Because I've been studying for my degree in Biology for the last three years, a lot of my reading has been either from a textbook or popular science. It's always typical that when you're studying something anything else seems more interesting than what you're doing, but I tried not to read other topics as I felt as if I'd forget the things I was meant to know. Now seems the ideal time (I've graduated) to catch up on things I find interesting. I find history fascinating but know only the basics, so I thought I'd start with this..

Then I'll see where my history takes me. Always been fascinated in Rome so I'll maybe pick up some reading on that. Tom Holland's Rubicon was a good starter for the area, great book.

Yeah don't worry, it's not all like that. It gets much more concrete after the first ten pages or something.
