Hmmm... You must have a different concept of the same "reverse cowgirl" position I'm used to, which is simply the girl in a ride position, but facing away.
Never had a problem just laying down in the normal way when getting ridden in that position. No bed corners or tactical feet positioning needed.
Am I misunderstanding what you mean?
