I read the book earlier this year. It reads like Wikipedia. If you're really into facts, and making artist connections, then it's a fun read. But if you're looking for a cohesive story from cover to cover, that's not its strong point.
The Misfits are covered well in the book, in fact they get their own section, as do Dead Kennedys.
I haven't seen the movie, but just in case they didn't explain why Moby is interviewed, in the book they briefly mention Vatican Commandos 7" EP
Pregnant Nun, on which Moby played guitar.
