Will you stop trolling the forum just to raise your post count? The last time I checked that results in a perma-ban...

I would venture to guess that either she's not talkng to you or some psychoactive medication is in order.

I read the book earlier this year. It reads like Wikipedia. If you're really into facts, and making artist connections, then it's a fun read. But if you're looking for a cohesive story from cover to cover, that's not its strong point.

The Misfits are covered well in the book, in fact they get their own section, as do Dead Kennedys.

I haven't seen the movie, but just in case they didn't explain why Moby is interviewed, in the book they briefly mention Vatican Commandos 7" EP Pregnant Nun, on which Moby played guitar.

That sounds pretty good to me. I like encyclopedic facts. Anyway, a cohesive story that attempts to connect all American Hardcore would be pretty forced.

In the film there is quite a bit of Moby-bashing for his description of himself as a member of Flipper.

Then it sounds right up your alley.

I'm sad to hear that. I've listened to the Vatican Commandos 7", and it's quality. Just because someone defected from the genre doesn't mean they contributed nothing to it.

Decline of Western Civilization is a must see, and the always enjoyable "Suburbia" with DI and TSOL...it's great...Flea from RHCP is in it.

I agree on both accounts. There is a youtube playlist out there where you can watch Suburbia.
