^American Gods is good, but I though the idea was better than the execution. I don't think Gaiman managed to communicate everything what was on his mind that well when he wrote it and the story lacks direction, I think. It has a B movie feel to it, I think .. and it's 90s cheesy as hell, but that's what you want from Gaiman.
Still a good book and well worth a read, but I wouldn't rate it among my favourites.
I'm reading the latest Discworld novel, Unseen Academicals.
It's about football and the story revolves around the Unseen University.
What's sad about Terry Pratchett is that a while ago, he was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease. This book is dedicated to Rob Wilkins who, it says, typed most of it so I think he might be getting help writing his books nowadays.
Hopefully, he'll manage to keep it up though. I love that man.
