Im not too sure, i can see why you would think that though.
Maybe i need to revisit FEOE but i was thinking his solo album, even though he doesnt stray too much from the Strokes as to alienate the majority of his existing fanbase, was done in such a way that it could stand on its own rather than be a natural progression from that album.
