Anyway, I was a little unsure about them at first but after seeing them live the other night I am won. They were amazing, very intense and seeing them live was much more interesting than listening to their recorded stuff. Finn Andrews, lead singer, was a very charismatic and engaging performer... in one of their very emotional songs he cried on stage, and I know that sounds lame but it was quite a moment. I also had the pleasure of meeting him and the bassist Sophie Burn who were wonderful, interesting people.
I also found out on the night that all members are in fact from New Zealand. They are based in London in the hopes for more recognition, which I think they are hopefully starting to receive! Unfortunately though Australian and New Zealand bands are commonly overlooked... as demonstrated by the popularity of my threads, ha!

I think myself and Bulldog are the only ones apart from the natives who promote music from down under. Some of the best music I have heard recently is from there.
