Back to Earth, though. I don't know if I can choose between which sound of theirs I like more. I like The Bees Made Honey because it's dark and heavy with, like you said, western elements. To me, it's friendlier to the ear than the more distorted, drone stuff. I had trouble getting into their earlier stuff because, if I may quote a good friend, I am "the lamest 21 year old [I] know". No, really, though. I enjoy it, but I can't get into it. I haven't been listening to Earth very much, so I've decided that I'm not quite ready for their older stuff.
i have everything they've ever released anytime you guys want them

and if you like Bees then you would love HEX, to me Bees sounds like stuff that didn't make the cut for HEX

although hibernaculum is really interesting because its Earth reworking some of their older material in their new style
