Underslept
This is the debut solo album from Zach Smith, one half of
Pinback (bass, shared vocal and song writing duties) and also bassist for
Three Mile Pilot (prior to the formation of
Pinback, and recently reunited). I got it when it came out last October, but it's a grower and I've only played it a few times so far. I liked a few songs from the get-go, but the rest are starting to click. It really shows how important he is to
Pinback, not that Rob Crow isn't also. I think Rob tends to get more credit buit it's clear when listening to their individual music that they bring equal parts to the table.
