Dear Diary,
Things I have thus far learnt about New Zealand:
- The triangles on the road mean 'give way.'
- Skinny milk is actually 'trim milk' here.
- New Zealanders don't (playfully) hate England as much as Australians do. They hate Australia instead!
- Melbourne (my home) is actually a lot colder than Auckland. Apparently Melbourne gets colder and more unsettled weather in winter than Auckland but hotter in summer due to being further south and away from the equator. This surprises me, I miss the cold Melbourne weather
I don't miss the hot days, though.
- Must add 'aye' to the end of every sentence, and replace 'mate' with 'bro.' (
