If the cover of your vinyl album of
Tommy is in mint condition, you've hit the jackpot! I've seen collectors pay as much as $50 for a first issue of cover of
Tommy in mint condition and they usually don't care what condition the records are in because they only collect album covers.
Who would have thought all the real value of all of those 33 rpm vinyl albums wasn't the music, but the cover artwork? It makes me wish I would have left all of my vinyl records in their original cellophane wrappers.
