I'm not really gonna argue for or against Grunge or Britpop in a way... both were solid movements in the 1990's with some good music. Obviously I think Nirvana and Oasis were the best things to come out of the respective movements (and I think most people would agree), but those are both their own autonomous acts and musical sounds.
