I know a mouse
And he hasn't got a house
I don't know why

But he's a good mouse
You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything
Everything if you want things

Heh heh...I thought these lyrics were actually kind of good because they are quirky, just like the song. I suspect the simplicity is intentional to make the lyrics funny. And I think it's cute that he says of his mouse, "I don't know why I call him Gerald. He's getting rather old but he's a good mouse."
I suppose one reason I like these lines is that I like mice. They have such cute little hands and noses!
