The White album was pretty typical of double albums throughout the 60`s and a large part of the 70`s. In that their charm, was their lack of being cohesive, extremely diverse, experimental and to some even bitty. Despite all that, it still stands as one of the greates doubles of the era along with "Electric Ladyland" and the later "Physical Graffitti".
