Stone didn't do it like Tarantino, Stone changes things and they aren't massive things a lot of the time. Just little things and you think no, what? That isn't right...
Though I do need to see more of his films before I judge him.

Well his 3 best films are influenced by aspects of his own life, he was a war vestern so that gives Platoon and Born a special poignancy his other films lack, and Wall Street was a pretty relevant film when it came out and has newfound relevance today. Yeah it's a pretty partial movie so don't watch it if you think it's unfair to rich upper class white people.
