Well, if your problem with computers stems from the use of them in Electronic based music/Hip-Hop, then that's just silly. Listen to Aphex Twin - Richard D James album or DJ Shadow - Entroducing, absolutely brilliant music. Unless you're just writing off entire genres based on what you hear in the charts, commercial Hip-Hop then that's a bit silly. I think it's only okay to write off a genre once you've explored it. I'm guessing by the bands you're into, you're very anti Hip-Hop and anti Electronica, but I'd guess you haven't given it much of a chance? (Correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm just make wild assumptions.)

I used to be the same as you. I used to like "plug in and play" bands, none of this synth stuff, none of this electronic based stuff. Even though I'm not a connoisseur of the music, by any means I still like bits of it and I can appreciate. You should broaden your horizons and step out of the 70s
