I get really depressed looking back at all the amazing shows and festivals back in the day which I would've loved to have gone to. But I'm happy right now, I'm still able to listen to the music though which is even more than enough so I wouldn't class myself as being born in the wrong generation as such.
Late 80s, the entire 90s and early 00's were amazing amazing years for music. <3
