My point isn't that she's going to suffer a pulmonary embolism any second, it's simply that yes, she could be healthier. She's not AS healthy AS she CAN be, even if it's not causing her a great deal of trouble. I'm definitely not saying she can't live a normal life or be attractive to anybody.
Again, how do you know she's not as healthy as she can be? You haven't seen her medical records, so you have no idea what her blood pressure, triglycerides or cholesterol levels are like. You're not her doctor. Again, you're basing your assumption on size. There are many, many fat people in the world who are perfectly healthy, with no blood pressure or cholesterol issues. Beth may be one of them. We have no idea unless she chooses to tell us. And since her health is no one's business but her own, I highly doubt she'll be sharing it with the general public any time soon.

Years ago, I worked at a middle school with a principal who was in his 50s and by physical appearance, was the "picture of health." He jogged before work every day, maintained a trim physique, ate healthfully (from the meals I saw him eat at work)... and one day, he came home from his early morning jog before work, had a massive coronary and died on the kitchen floor before making his protein shake. I share this as an example of why we can't judge someone's health by their physical appearance and their activities. You never know, and you can't assume.
