i like the lyrics. it's a nice positive song. notation wise the music didn't feel as uplifting as the lyrics would imply. but that's not necessarily a bad thing, contrast can be a great thing.

i like the construction of the song too.

the only caveat i have is: regarding the singer, it didn't feel right notation wise in the part

Like it was kind of pitchy here. which can make a good song turn amateur sounding super fast. For my taste, she has a nice voice but it comes off kind of monotone rather than expressive. emotionless. obviously sometimes singers go for that and if that's the case here, she succeeded. just a personal preference on my part so i'm by no means saying it's "wrong."

the break was nice too. i can tell you're a song writing student, awesome
