Why should a band's religion matter, anyways? The only time it should matter is when they are shoving it down your throat on every album they've ever made. Screeching Weasel doesn't do that.
Personally, I think someone who holds a grudge against someone for having a religious persuasion, and for only that, is childish.
Ben's Catholicism doesn't interfere with the music his band makes. So I don't see how it is at all relevant.
