LedZepStu: Okay, maybe both Hiu, and I could have been more descriptive when we said you didn't write a great review, but when Hiu explained himself, you were still arguing. There was no need for that.

i had things i wanted to say to him. so naturally i said them. end of story really. as far as im concerned the matter is closed and i have nothing against him as long as what he says is constructive and apt - which to be fair wasnt the case in the first few posts of his i saw

I don't have a problem with criticism, providing it's constructive.

Yeah, I said in my last post we should have been more descriptive probably.

There`s nothing wrong with that review i`ve seen shorter less helpful ones than that published in music magazines.

Oh for fu*k sake. Get back on topic. I HAVE heard them and frankly they are the bee knees. Really great stuff. Apparently they're playing accoustic stuff now and it's not as good as they were before but give them a go and stop with your bugging people the whole time. You're always BETTER than everybody else and picking the whole time. This is a MUSIC forum not a personal issues forum...

You can backstab me if you want but I'm off now. I never stay around here anymore..

i think Howl is brilliant. Which surprised me immensly. Take them on on your own disappointed me because they tried to be overly political whilst copying the style of the debut - but it just lacked the songs. So for them to completely go opposite and immerse themselves in folk, country and gospel influences was a brave and successful move.

my band went on tour with brmc last feb-mar 2006 .. they are even more incredible live. they soundchecked for 3 hours for every show we played with them, talk about dedication to the music. and we sat through a lot of this and i never got tired of seeing them play. it took months before i could hear anything else but their songs in my head. but i didn't mind. "howl" is a great album as well as "take them on, on your own" .. i can't wait to hear the next album which i hear is now complete and due out early 2007.

Has anyone listened to the new album yet? I'm downloading it as I type, but "Let The Day Begin" sounds pretty immense, and it's already got me super excited. They're playing near me next month, so I'm hoping I'll somehow get a ride to DC.
