i'm inclined to say no, but i say give Avery Island or this a try! i mean i have heard from a lot of people that Avery island is "grating" in comparision to ITAOTS but i don't think so at all, i think it is provocative and interesting. just don't be expecting something very... normal.

also! give ITAOTS a few more tries, i found that it put me off in the beginning but the more i listened to it, the more i fell in love with it, that goes for all of Jeff Mangum's stuff though... if yah don't like it then (like i said) to each his own :]
