Personally never understood the hatred for The Wall. Suppose it has a bit more filler than the average Floyd album, but it's non-filler is probably some of the best work they've done. Especially for doing a song like "The Trial" which I think is utterly amazing.

I think you answered your own question: too much filla, dude, and the filler in question is some of the worst material Waters ever managed to devise.

Compare The Wall to Wish You Were Here, where every song is absolutely priceless.

Well Piper was there - the only interesting thing they did. Pleased not to see any other Floyd as they really don't deserve to be amongst the great music in this list so far.

I agree, I would much rather see Wish You Were HEre on this list than anything else.

I disagree as well. The OP is trying to hard to make stray his list as far as possible from what a typical top album list might be. I'd rather the poster just stop.

What you on about? It's refreshing to see a list that avoids the usual cannon of Sgt Pepper - Astral Weeks - yawn - Dark Side of The Moon, especially when the stuff included sounds so much better today.

The only thing I disagree with is that Electric Ladyland is missing. But I forgive.
