I would take Animals over The Wall also. The Wall has some lovely bits but is also weighed down by truckloads of Roger Waters insufferable BS. Animals is one of the most Proggy albums I think the Floyd ever did and it really holds up. An overlooked gem, in my opinion.

i doubt that - serious music listeners usually view it as their best album

it's just the misinformed ones who think the wall is their best
