Smile La-La-La by Solskala

I saw this fairly unknown band many years ago in London and really liked what they were doing (I even have one of their freebie CDs they were giving out at the time). Happy to see that after all this time they have an album out, most of which I love to bits. Very different, dunno whether that's a good or bad thing. I would compare this band to maybe like Thievery Corporation, sometimes a bit like Archive and sometimes not like anyone else. The music, well maybe a bit funky, maybe a bit electronica, maybe a bit weird!

Overall, I would give this 8.5 (maybe 9)/10
