Snooze/10

I think at this point we've confirmed that anything even mildly interesting is boring to Frown. He revels in lame twinkly guitar and broken chords.

Mildly interesting is a good way to put it. The instrumentation occasionally has great interplay and cool textures, which is why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1. The compositions themselves are just bland to me, like someone just wrote down what they figured would be a cool song without knowing how it sounds.

This is my AOTYSF right ahead of the new Teen Suicide. This is by and large my favorite Radiohead album since Kid A, which is surprising because I think that Amnesiac and HTTT are nearly as good, nearly every single song works perfectly by itself and in the context of the album. Goddamn this one is just too good, worth the 5 year wait.

Just bought the album yesterday and I am quite pleased with my purchase! I wasn't too crazy about king of limbs as the follow-up to the awesome in rainbows but they have redeemed themselves with this one. My favorite so far is Daydreaming but that might change the more I listen to the album.
