Now that people have posted a few of these how about giving a list of say 20 songs from each genre/sub genre of what you consider the best in that genre to check out for those people not familiar with them.

I see what you are saying , I just think that because they are supposed to be education threads it wouldn`t hurt to list a few of the best songs by those bands.
For example it`s easy to say listen to Alice Cooper if you want to check out some glam rock , but he has something like 30 albums out.

Naming a few of the best songs & letting people hear them would more than likely make people want to listen to more.

Well, seeing that anyone can start it i decided to make a Ska one based off of a few articles off the internet(most of it is from wikipedia) though I am not done with the sub genres.
Here is what i have so far, please feel free to post feedback and info, ect.

Yes, maybe not as often as others, but that wouldn't affect their vast knowledge of the genre.
