Warning System
 

Ok. To bring an end to yet any more threads about this, gregbs introduced a new warning system. Everyone's been given a warning log that only the members themselves and staff can see, theyre not public. The staff will issue a warn of their choice if something needs to be brought to your attention. When it gets to 100%, you'll get a ban for however long we decide.

Those of you complaining, well, if you dont do anything deserving a warning, you'll have nothing to worry about, will you.

i think it blows.....it upset my man billy so much so that he threatened to leave, and i hate you all for it....

One of my warnings was from a comment that I made to boo boo, in the argument that I already got banned for.
So basically, I got points towards another banning, based on a comment that I was already banned for. That is the epitome of f*cked

Its not so bad. Other posts from a while back were also brought to our notice, I guess thats the logic behind it. The point is anyway, as long as everyone does no more that deserves a warn, you'll have no reason to worry and it shouldnt bother you.

I have been warned for 2 posts so far.
One of which I already got banned for, yet I am at 80% warn. For making a comment I already got banned for. I was already banned for it. I already got a ban for that comment. How many ways do I need to say it. This system sucks

If its actually bothering you, PM gregb, he gave you the warn. However , I remember you reporting a post from feeeek [or whatever its name was] from ages ago, who was also banned, probably for the same incident. But whatever anyway.

Why not just ban people outright for a week instead of this warning system?

Because we always have a warning first , then banning.
And we're far too lazy to actually PM people to warn them.
Now its just point and click.

And besides. Whys it bothering you all ? Just ignore it being there. Its hardly affecting you.

It bothers me because:

1. I am 80% full on my bar. Now this wouldn't bother me except
...a. One of the comments that I got 50% warn for, I was already banned for

So dont do anything more, and you'll be fine.
If you didnt deserve 80% warn, it wouldnt be there, simple as.

What was the point of banning me before, if you guys are just going to warn me for those same posts over again?

Because you obviously havent gotten the hint yet.

Its the SAME FUCKING POST that I got banned for earlier. Why warn me on the exact same post again? At least be creative and find a different one.

Quit typing your caps at me, I didnt warn you in the first place. Just deal. You know full well that there are plenty of other posts we could replace it with, even make it up to a full 100, so what does it matter anyway.

No, I don't know full well.
It matters that half of this little "warn bar" got filled with warn, from a comment I already got banned for. Haven't I already said that......

And havent I already explained that banning you for that post has done no good. Therefore, the warn stays. If you pay attention to the warnings, then you've nothing to worry about, because the teeny tiny little "80%" in the corner of posts cant be affecting you that much.

Why has banning me in the past not done any good?
If that was true, then that would mean that there are plenty of posts since my ban, that are warn worthy. So why choose one that was before my ban?

before the bar, there was no way for us mods to know who got banned for what. with this in place, it keeps a log with the post the warning refers too. You wont have to worry about someone warning you multiple times for a single post anymore..it sucks that it happend, but im sure greg had no idea that you were banned for the comment youre refering too. So you should be happy knowing that at least now we can keep track of things like this.

Can't you make them public so we can all see whose close to a banning. That way members would get to goad and provoke potential ban candidates...think of the fun! :D

ya that sucks, dont know what to say about that one. Id just try and forget about it and keep your head with the remaining 20% you have left.

I already feel more badass. And to make me even more badass I will not ask to leave the dinner table, I will just get up and leave...and leave my plate for someone else to get.

Now urban is gonna have to show you up by not asking to leave and then taking his dinner plate up to his room and eating it there.
