I really think Crowquills status as a moderator should be called into question.

I may not display model behavior myself a lot of times. But I am not a mod, nor am I qualified to be one nor should I ever be one.

My beef here is, I don't see how Crowquill is qualified in anyway.

You can say "oh no, he does a nice job, when someone posts something very offensive or obscene, he deletes it, as well as any threads that should be deleted". But thats only part of what the qualifications for being a mod should be. Theres an example that should be made as well. And I don't see Ethan making any real positive example.

I get into many arguments, its only expected for someone like myself. But I do my best to use facts to back my claims. I think its something that should be required of anyone who insists in getting into big arguments. Thing is, I have almost never seen an example of Ethan doing this, and for someone like him who does nothing but get into big arguments, that is a problem. For a mod, he argues with the same attitude and approach of the average n00b, to some extent even that of a troll. Mods should display some kind of maturity. Something I never see Ethan doing. He makes a bad example. And if I didn't know any better, the reason there are so many bad apples here starting lame arguments and without trying to express their opinions in an acceptible way and without any kind of validation to back them up, its because they see guys like Ethan and think, "If a mod can act this way, why can't I?"

I also see a double standard in what is considered name calling, this is a guy who called me a fascist because I support the war in Iraq. I fail to understand how the admins can call this acceptible behavior for a moderator.

How about you stop making this forum the most important aspect of your life. Go make some friends, drink some beers, and get laid. And if thats too hard for you to do, just GTFO, cause all your bitching pisses me, and im sure all the other members off.

Ethan does a good job as a mod, everyone has bad days and gets into arguments, it's only natural. He is the most active and runs contests and such and is, for the most part, helpful.

And this is the internet, not the Geneva Convention, so chillax.

word. boo boo is lame. i dont even know all about this stuff but it is pretty silly to get this serious about an internet forum. get a life man, he's a mod not a UN ambassador.

Honestly I'd say Adidass starts a lot more flamed-up arguements than Ethan. But I honestly don't think either of them should have their mod status revoked. Not even close really. The "n00bs" who come on this forum would act the same way even if Crowquill didn't exist.

I honestly don't know why everyone is getting mad at Boo Boo. He stated his opinion and he should be able to without all of you whining idiots telling him he should shut his trap. If you don't like him saying CQ shouldn't be a mod then don't read the thread. It is that simple. I can agree with him on some points. Calling anybody a fascist for any unwanted reason is unacceptable and as a mod you should show a level of maturity that rises over the average member. Coming to you as a mod of a big fansub distro site for anime, which has a forum, I can say that the way I act on the forum is much different then the way I would act on the mIRC channel where I play around all the time. The maturity is very important because it shows members one reason why you are a mod.

Now I also agree with the fact that if he messes up a couple times, it isn't that big and he shouldn't be demodded for it. I do agree though that he should be warned just as the other members are.

Only a few people are really getting mad at him. He stated his opinions, and if people disagree with them, not always in the nicest way.

I don't mind the feedback, after all thats what I expected.

However I do think some people here are just taking their strong respect for Ethan and their strong disrespect for me to heart, without thinking this through more objectivly.

But thanks anyway Inuzuka. Good to meet a fellow Anime fan. =)
